Initiative
Mission
The mission of The Confident Crown Initiative is to reduce barriers to essential hair-loss support by providing eligible recipients with appropriate hair-replacement options and supportive resources at no cost when available and fundable. Options may include human-hair wigs, a limited selection of high-quality heat-friendly synthetic-blend wigs, and custom cranial prostheses.

A world where hair loss never stands in the way of self-worth. We envision a community where individuals experiencing hair loss have access to the specialized hair solutions and support they need to see themselves first, not their circumstances.
What the Program Provides

Hair-Replacement Options: Eligible recipients may receive human-hair wigs, a limited selection of high-quality heat-friendly synthetic-blend wigs, or other appropriate hair solutions based on documented need, availability, and funding.

Specialized Cranial Prostheses (for qualifying applicants): Custom cranial prostheses may be provided when appropriate for the applicant’s needs and when funding is available. Approval is not automatic and depends on eligibility, documentation, appropriateness, and available resources.

Personalized Confidence Support: Private, compassionate consultations and guidance are provided. Fitting, customization, styling, and installation support may be available through qualified partners depending on location and partner capacity, and is not guaranteed.

Essential Care & Maintenance Kits: Recipients may receive appropriate care and maintenance supplies, along with guidance to help care for and extend the life of their wig or hair system.

Reducing Coverage Barriers: We help applicants understand available resources and address gaps created by insurance limitations. Lost and Crowned, Inc. does not represent itself as an enrolled insurance provider unless that status is formally verified.

Community Connection: Recipients may be connected with supportive resources and community opportunities so they do not have to navigate the emotional challenges of hair loss alone.

Every hair loss journey is different. Through the Confident Crown Initiative, we provide support, resources, and access to quality hair replacement options designed to help individuals move forward with dignity and confidence.
Supporting Our Veterans
Veterans and military families are welcome to seek assistance through the Confident Crown Initiative.
We are actively pursuing VA enrollment and credentialing to help expand access to eligible hair replacement services for veterans. VA-authorized coverage is not currently available through Lost and Crowned.
Individuals seeking assistance are encouraged to apply through our existing program while these efforts continue.
Fitting and Styling Support: Approved applicants may receive an available hair-replacement option through Confident Crown. Fitting, customization, styling, and installation support may be available through qualified partners but is not guaranteed. Availability varies by location and partner capacity, and applicants will be notified when support is available.
